I'm Anže and I am composer of music for media (film,tv, video games,ect.) and classical music. I was born in 1989 in the small european country of Slovenia. I started composing music and improvising tunes on the piano when I was nine. From when I can remember, I have always been most interested in orchestral music. My "brain orchestra", has been playing music in my head from my childhood on and I feel a constant need to write what my neurons are coming up with. I like composing music in many different stiles combaining elements from many genres.
I graduated (summa cum laude) from composition and music theory at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana in 2013 and have gotten master's degree (summa cum laude) in Scoring for film, TV and VideoGames at Berklee College of Music Valencia in July 2014. I am currently also working as a part time docent (teacher) at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana.

- Nomination for the Golden Eye award 2012 for the Zurich film music competition fo an orchestral score for short film by Phillip Hofmanner - Evermore ( only 5 nominees were chosen out of 165 competitors)
- Prešern Award of the Academy of Music of Ljubljana 2012 for the score for feature film Neiztreljeni Naboj (Unfired Bullet)
- Silver Award at AES 2014 Berlin at "Audio for visual media" competition..
- Winner of the competition of the Embassy of Poland in Slovenia, for a new orchestral piece on the themes of F.Chopin (2010)
- Peer Recognition Award of Berklee College of Music. Voted by classmates as best student of the year in the master's program of Scoring for Film, TV and Video Games 2014hemes of F.Chopin (2010)
